so i spent a lot of time trying to figure out how the dark knight rises was racist but i just didn’t have the spoons, forks, or even the sporks to get it figured out. even though the film had middle eastern people as main characters, middle eastern people aren’t black so it still counts as racist. but the more i searched the more i realized i might have to face the truth that the dark knight rises isn’t racist.

the dark knight returns so that he can rises is the biggest movie in america ever made, bigger than the avengos, the amazing avengers man and spidermen movie. but despite all the white people, it’s not racist, because it’s called the dark knight, which means it’s okay for black people to like it. as a 15 year old white girl with a blog, i am an authority on this, please listen to me. the dark knight roses is not racist.

but it should be, and here’s why.

when hollywood makes movies, all the actors are white people. this isn’t because famous white people are in higher supply in hollywood, or that casting calls require them more often, or because hollywood executives are worried about marketing things, or because some movies require race specific roles. it’s because all directors are actual white supremacists.

but the problem is the sheep that are white people don’t realize this blatant racism that whenever they see a movie with mostly white people in it they are supporting racism. when there are more white people than black people in a movie in main roles, this is called Whiteness™® and is more serious than race-based lynchings, race-based discrimination in employment, or racism in the legal system. other social justice bloggers like me have taken up the fight against Whiteness©® as the most evil racist thing that any disgusting cracker can do to a PoC™, especially whitewashing, which is when you take something that should be PoC™ coloured (black) and let white people be involved with it somehow. ugh it triggers my spoons so that they’re offended, wow, um.

so obviously, we’re right in raising awareness about whiteness exclusively and whitewashing in shit like legend of korra, and other hollywood movies, and not by using all our time and blogging space and followers to make public the actual discrimination built into some states legal systems discrimination against hispanic dudes/ladies/other, foundations that seek to rectify these changes and need the help of publicity and awareness. it is more important to talk about how racist hollywood is because there’s a lot of white people there. the more white people there are at something, the more racist it is, obviously. that is how whitenes©® and whitewashing work, ugh.

but it’s really hard to raise awareness about racism when there isn’t a lot of racism going on, and that makes it hard to raise awareness about Whiteness©® and whitewashing, and racism in hollywood. which is why the Dark Knight Rises should be racist.

the more racist the dark knight rises is, then the easier it’ll be to point out how racist hollywood directors are, which makes things easier for us, social justice bloggers. but by refusing to be that racist, then hollywood makes it harder to point out its own racism, which makes us wrong, which is bad. i mean, how am i supposed to blog about how offended i am that there are no famous black actors when denzel washington, sidney poitier, morgan freeman, will smith, samuel l jackson and at least more than 100 more than just them? ugh
